Nonsurgical Solutions
Botox
The muscles of facial expression become out of balance as we age and the muscles that pull up the face lose the tug of war to the muscles that pull down the face. Dr. Zdinak has extensive experience in restoring the balance of facial musculature using Botox and will tailor your treatment to meet your individual needs to yield a natural, rested result that never appears overdone.
Restylane
Our faces lose volume as we get older. Eyes appear sunken, cheeks become drawn, and the lips become smaller, lose definition, and develop fine lines. Deep folds appear alongside the nose and mouth that were absent in youth. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring element that is depreciated from the skin tissues over time. Dr. Zdinak is certified in the use of Restylane [hylauronic acid] to restore the volume nature intended to the face.
Radiesse
Bone loss in the face also occurs over time. Cheekbones become less prominent, chins recede, jawlines become less pronounced. Radiesse [calcium hydroxylapatite] is a pure, synthetic injectable compound identical to the mineral portion of human bone. Dr. Zdinak has extensive experience in the use of Radiesse to sculpt chins and jawlines, and for eliminating the more prominent nasolabial folds in the male face.
Sculptra
Sunken cheeks and temples due to inherited patterns of aging can convey lack of vitality despite robust health. Sculptra [polylactic acid] is a synthetic injectable agent that is FDA approved for the treatment of facial lipoatrophy. Dr. Zdinak customizes the preparation and administration of Sculptra to restore broad areas of lost facial volume, to build cheekbones, and to eliminate depressions and fine lines on the chin.
Thermage
Thermage [radiofrequency surgilifting] uses radiowave energy to heat the deep layers of the dermis and to promote the formation of new collagen yielding tighter, plumper, more youthful appearing skin with improved texture. Dr. Zdinak is certified in the Thermage procedure and has instructed other physicians how to use this technology for non-surgical eyelifts, facelifts, necklifts, and body sculpting.
Carboxytherapy
Carboxy therapy involves the injections of small amounts of carbon dioxide gas beneath the skin surface to improve bloodflow to areas with poor circulation. Dr. Zdinak designed and conducted the original therapeutic trials using this technology in the United States for the treatment of dark undereye circles, cellulite, and stretch marks.
Chemical Peels
The ancient Egyptians used acids derived from sugar cane and milk to exfoliate dull, lifeless cells from the skin’s surface. Dr. Zdinak uses glycolic acid peels to correct uneven skin tone, to diminish pore size, and to eliminate fine lines, and to treat and prevent acne breakouts. These superficial depth peels do not redden the skin and allow for an immediate return to activity–earning them the moniker “the lunchtime peel.”
Intense Pulsed Light/Pixelated Laser
Intense pulsed light technology uses lightwaves to lighten the appearance of dark spots and broken capillaries that rob the skin of its youthful appearance. Intense pulsed light is also used to treat acne because it destroys the bacteria responsible for acne formation. The pixilated laser can be used to soften pitted acne scars and to eliminate larger, deeply pigmented dark spots and smooth fine lines.
Scarless Mole Removal/Capillary Telangiectasia Removal
Dr. Zdinak uses radiofrequency technology to meticulously shave the mole away layer by layer leaving the normal skin below undisturbed. The same device can be used to eliminate small “spider veins” and “cherry-red spots” on the skin.
